The line between clients and friends is often blurred over time since the nature of photography is so intimate and personal. The exchange between photographer and subject is something I hold sacred and I have a tremendous amount of respect for the trust and willingness given to me by my clients. Such was the case with some dear "client-friends" of mine who asked me to document their daughter's baptism in Long Beach last month.
The ceremony was a rich mixture of cultures and traditions but the most tangible commodity in the room was the immense joy and love surrounding dear little Clementina. As Clementina was bathed in ritual both literally and figuratively, we all received a healthy dose of the love bath in return! It was a super special, heart-filled day for everyone…
